We got tired of choosing between style and reality.
Orynne started in 2021 when our founder, Maya Reyes, moved into her first real apartment and spent three weekends driving to showrooms, scrolling through websites, and returning things that looked nothing like their photos. The furniture she could afford felt disposable. The stuff that looked beautiful was completely out of reach.
So she started sourcing directly — working with small factories and independent designers to find pieces that were genuinely well-made, honestly priced, and actually beautiful to live with. She shared them with friends. Friends told friends. Within a year, Orynne had a following it hadn't tried to build.
